Decorating my daughter's room has been an ongoing process. ?Before she was born, we were content to have the walls painted and the furniture we needed in place. ?The room was being used for storage and it was a lot of work to get it prepared for a little one. ?I figured we would settle on a theme and decorate more when things were less hectic.
I tried to match up the rest of the room to a light switch we bought on clearance. ? So we kind of settled on a princess theme. ?My hubby spray painted some wooden shelves we had and I found a cute personalized photo with her name on it. ?But I hadn't found any wall stickers that I liked. ?I didn't want to do a specific princess theme (like Disney) until my daughter was older and could choose what she wanted. The collection has two 12x12 sheets of stickers, which is a good amount for a small room. ?And right now these are on sale for only $12.99 which is very reasonable.
The stickers are easy to peel off and apply. ?Just make sure you have a clean, dust-free surface.?
The trickiest sticker to peel off was the wand with ribbons. ?You have to be careful that it doesn't fold over onto itself as you're removing it and positioning it on the wall.
Little miss will be transitioning soon into a toddler bed. ?That means some rethinking of where certain things will be placed to make it toddler proof. ??I like that these are repositionable so if I move furniture around, I can move the stickers too. ?
Another great feature of these vinyl stickers is that they do not peel the paint off the wall when you remove them. ?(I tested this out a a few times when deciding on where to put them.)
Baby girl hasn't stopped pointing to her new decorations when she enters her room. ?It's cute to watch her say "ohhh" and "pwetty". ?
I love the verses and can't wait until she understands their meaning. ?I think it's so important for girls to have a healthy self-image and to feel beautiful inside and out.
