It?s only human nature to enjoy spending money on things you like.? You?re probably the same way, right?? And when it comes to building a business on the internet, you probably would rather do it with as little expense as possible too?right?? Fact is, there are several good reasons to include PPC advertising in your overall online marketing strategy.
Correcting The Opinion Of PPC Advertising
First of all, don?t feel discouraged, you?re not alone if you think PPC advertising isn?t for you.? It?s very common for internet entrepreneurs, especially in the early stages of their careers, to try to garner as much power from free (AKA: ?organic?) listings as possible and stay away from paid advertising, like PPC (Pay Per Click).? This applies equally throughout the platforms such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook, or more recently Twitter.
Think about this question:? Is it that you don?t like spending money if you don?t have a guaranteed outcome or that you?re? just dead-set against spending money on advertising even it if does bring you sales?
We think that the reason most people shy away from PPC advertising in their marketing strategy is because they don?t feel confident in what their doing or they don?t think their doing it correctly.?? However, it is possible to do it correctly and the fact that lots of people and businesses continue to allocate and spend BIG money on PPC as an important part of their online marketing strategy is proof that it works for somebody.
Of course the final decision is always yours and yours alone but here?s what we think are 3 of the biggest reasons that you should learn something about PPC advertising and include it as part of your online advertising (i.e. marketing) strategy.
Not Convinced Enough To Use PPC Yet?
?1. Learn It Once: You only have to learn it about PPC once, its not like search engines that update fairly often.? Online business people are constantly faced with changes, new policies, new this, new that in chasing organic listing success. PPC policies and practices don?t change nearly as much or as often.? You get what you pay for and that?s that for the most part
2. Buy Motivated Clicks: PPC traffic, although it is arguably higher in ?per click? cost, is also based much more on buyer-motivated clicks.? An organic listing could attract the attention of anybody from a S.Korean school kid or a bored housewife in Minot, S.D., to an idle office worker in Detroit, to (hopefully) somebody who?s really looking for what you have to offer. ?But you still spent a lot of time creating and positioning that web content on the net.
3. Easier Than Other Advertising: PPC ad placement is easier to do accomplish successfully.? All the time you spend creating and placing organic content is also money.? If you compare that value of that time and money and try to allocate it to your average cost-per-sale, you?ll probably see that organic traffic isn?t as free as you thought it was.
Automatically Attracting The Customer With PPC
Getting sales by PPC is a quick, simple, ?slam-bam-thank-you-ma?am? proposition.? If you pay for it, you get it, it gives you direct insight on your offer. You already know that PPC traffic is interested in what you have to offer.? People who really want to buy tend to read and click on ads, not just random curiosity about a product.
Isn?t that the kind of potential customer you?re looking for?? We think that these are three good reasons to include PCC advertising in your overall marketing mix.? There are others too.
If you haven?t tried PPC advertising yet, we?d recommend it.? More and more top online marketers are coming back to PPC advertising because, when done right, they recognize that PPC advertising as part of a well-designed marketing campaign is not only an efficient use of their capital, but it?s also a very efficient use of their time.
